HES-SO MOOC « distributed flip » model: A pilot experiment

ABSTRACT
This paper presents a pilot experiment conductedby the University of Applied Sciences Western Switzerland
(HES-SO) 1 to embed one of its own MOOC into face-to-face
course in the Business Information Technology Bachelor
curriculum. The proposed model is that of a distributed
flipped MOOC. Various statistics drawn from the MOOC
and the students’ evaluations are presented here to assess the validity and the impact of such a model to evaluate its potential for a global diffusion across the whole establishment.
