ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT
This article examines the added value of open educational resources (OER) from the perspective of legal didactics. It emphasizes that OER could become a testing ground for alternative teaching and learning media, but that legal, technical, and cultural hurdles must be overcome. A discussion on subject-specific description and evaluation criteria is initiated to support the effective use of OER and demonstrate how OER can be designed innovatively.
