%X	Open educational resources (OER) is a term, coined around 2002, that describes electronic learning and teaching materials, which have clearly identifiable licensing arrangements, making it easier to know how you can use them in your own teaching. In this article we examine the roots of OER, explore some large collections and what they may offer to clinical teachers, and then focus on some collections specifically to support medicine and health care education.
