Its remit was to investigate university lecturers’ and students’ use of open education resources (OER), and to inform the higher education community of the current impact of OER from the perspective of use rather than production. Specifically, the research team addressed the following questions: I. What benefits can OER offer to educators and learners in HE in the UK? II.
