	abstract = {The main aim of MOOCs is to provide new opportunities to a massive number of learners to attend free online courses from anywhere all over the world. Massive open online courses (MOOCs) have drastically changed the way of teaching and learning procedure. In recent years, the concept of online or distance learning has expanded to include a growing number of Massive Online Open Courses (MOOCs), free higher education courses open for enrolment for any Internet user. In several universities now distance learning is replaced by MOOCs. The author mainly gives a brief idea about the concept, history of MOOCs, pros and cons of it and how MOOCs enhance accessibility, student engagement, and experiences for lifelong learning.},
